We, South Indians do celebrate Sankranthi or Pongal, and Rangoli is the most beautiful part of it. It is a hand-made design they do either inside the home or in the front porch. It has a very meaningful religious and scientific significance apart from the festive celebration. Here I am going to post all the Rangolis that I had drawn for Sankranthi (I mean only those for which I have pictures :P ). We infact do have Rangoli competitions, and I had won first place in the very recent one we had last week :)
I am also including a flower rangoli, which we (friends, cousins and me) had made for our house-warming ceremony.
